Hi hi, my name is Giacomo and you have someway landed on my personal photography portfolio! Glad you made it so far!

I'm 25 years old, originally from Rome, Italy 🇮🇹, but currently in the UK pursuing a PhD in DNA Nanotechnology with Di Michele Lab at Imperial College London 🇬🇧.

Outside of the lab, I am as eclectic as it can get:

  1. fitness enthusiast (bodybuilding + calisthenics mash up),
  2. ongoing learner interested in ways to externalise my brain with note-taking tools and techniques supporting networked thought (see Roam Research - #RoamBookClub4 graduate here 👨‍🎓),
  3. avid reader (mostly non-fiction, but field may vary)
  4. aspiring biohacker (I could chat about the importance of sleep and the benefits of intermittent fasting for hours...)
  5. and, pretty obviously, photographer!

This website is meant to work as a personal portfolio to complement my Instagram account (you can find me at @g.f.photo), nudging my inner procrastinator to show more of my work online :)
